Using the Platform Effectively

Viewing Lessons and Tracking Progress

Once enrolled, you’ll see your program dashboard, which shows all lesson groups and modules.
Each lesson you complete updates your progress bar, helping you track how far you’ve come.

Lessons are organized into logical groups:

• Orientation lessons like this one to get you started.
• Weekly technical lessons that teach and guide your projects.
• Project lessons that define certification requirements and submission steps.

Accessing Code Repositories

Many lessons include practical examples and template repositories. These would appear under the Resources section which you can find in the right side panel in desktop view, or below the lesson content in mobile view.

These take you directly to our GitHub repositories, where you’ll find:

• Template code for experiments and projects
• Configuration files and datasets
• Instructions to reproduce results locally or in cloud environments

The Resources section may also contain links to other resources such as documentation, videos, and other helpful links.

Submitting Projects for Certification

Your projects are where learning becomes proof.

Here’s how to submit one:

1. From the main Certification section, click “Start a Submission.”
2. Add your title, tags, license, and co-authors. Also select the applicable certification module for the submission.
3. On the next tab, link your code repository.
4. In the Documentation tab, write clear documentation describing your approach and results. You can use markdown to format your documentation.
5. In the last tab for Files, you can upload any additional files that you want to include in your submission.
6. Click on Publish to submit your project for review.

Once submitted, your project enters the certification queue.
After evaluation, you’ll be notified and can download your digital certificate directly from your dashboard. Your digital badge will be added to your profile page.

Most learners' questions are answered fastest in our Discord community.
Once you join, you'll see dedicated channels for each certification program — including:

• 🧑‍💻 Technical Q&A
• 🤝 Find-a-Teammate
• 📢 Announcements

It's the best place to meet peers, share progress, and get unstuck quickly.

For technical issues like access problems or missing certificates, post in the Technical Q&A channel with screenshots or details about what you were trying to do — it helps us resolve things faster.

Remember: asking for help isn't a weakness — it's a skill. The best engineers ask good questions early.
