• Question Decomposer: Uses a local LLM (Qwen 2.5) to break down the original question into focused sub-questions.
• Searcher: Queries multiple search engines (Brave, Google, SerpAPI) and even ArXiv for academic papers.
• Content Extractor: Parses HTML and PDFs with precision.
• Summarizer: Breaks long texts into manageable chunks and synthesizes them using a fine-tuned BART model.
• Re-ranker: Filters only the most relevant results, based on a multilingual re-ranking model.
• Reflective Agent: Analyzes whether the answer is complete — if not, it triggers new searches automatically.
• Final Synthesizer: Crafts a clear, didactic final answer.

Each agent is independent yet orchestrated carefully, making the system flexible, robust, and extensible.

Privacy, cost, and customization were top priorities.
Instead of relying solely on cloud LLMs, Advanced Deep Research runs:

• Local inference with Qwen 2.5 (via vLLM for OpenAI API compatibility).
• Embeddings generated by jinaai/jina-embeddings-v3.
• Summarizations with a fine-tuned facebook/bart-large-cnn.
• Filtering handled by jina-reranker-v2-base-multilingual.

The knowledge is also stored locally using a fast and scalable Qdrant vector database.

The result: fast response times, low operational costs, full control over the data, and the ability to tailor the system for niche research needs.
